BRIDGEPORT — The Bridgeport Police Department has arrested three individuals on charges of violating deadly weapons registry requirements, following a series of investigations and the execution of arrest warrants.
Raybon B. Carwin, Kevin L. Upchurch, and Wilbert E. Bunch were each charged with Violation of Deadly Weapons Registry Requirements, according to police officials.
Authorities said the arrest warrants were obtained on Feb. 14 as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to enforce weapons registration laws and protect community safety.
Carwin was taken into custody on Feb. 26, Upchurch was arrested on Feb. 28 at 4:30 p.m., and Bunch was arrested on March 4. Police said Upchurch was taken into custody without incident.
Officials did not release additional details about the specific nature of the alleged registry violations or the individuals’ prior histories.
