PROVIDENCE — Three Providence men were arrested Friday in a coordinated early morning drug raid involving multiple law enforcement agencies.
Federico Garcia, 34, Kevin Alcantara, 32, and Gareth Love Jones, 33, were taken into custody at approximately 4:15 a.m. by members of the HIDTA Task Force with assistance from the Violent Fugitive Task Force and Cranston Police Department.
All three men face identical charges including possession with intent to deliver over one kilogram of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, and controlled substance conspiracy.
The arrests resulted from court-authorized search warrants executed at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation.
Garcia, a resident of Vermont Avenue, Alcantara of Lynch Street, and Jones of Burnside Street were processed at the Lincoln Barracks following their arrests.
All three suspects were arraigned in Sixth Division District Court where they were held without bail.
