WILMINGTON — Police are searching for the driver of a red Toyota Rav4 who struck a parked vehicle in downtown Wilmington and fled the scene Friday afternoon.
The collision occurred around 3:13 p.m. on North Main Street near the center of downtown, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
Investigators determined that the southbound Toyota failed to maintain its lane of travel before colliding with a parked vehicle along the roadway.
The suspect vehicle is described as a mid-2010s model Toyota Rav4 with Vermont license plates and likely has recent damage to its right side.
