Corning man arrested after retail robbery, burglary

CORNING — A 55-year-old Corning man was arrested on felony charges following a domestic incident at a retail establishment in the Town of Corning.

Louis A. Paulo of Kings Circle was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree robbery, and petit larceny after an incident on March 5, according to Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard.

Deputies allege Paulo entered or remained unlawfully in a premise and forcibly stole property from another person.

Paulo left the scene but was later located by deputies near his residence.

He was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail without bail.

Both burglary and robbery charges are class D felonies.
