AUBURN — Investigators from the Finger Lakes Drug Task Force executed a court-authorized search warrant at a residence in the Town of Aurelius during the morning of March 7.
The search warrant had been authorized by Cayuga County Court Judge T. Leone.
Jason P. Colon was found to be in possession of a metal knuckle knife and a quantity of suspected imitation controlled substance commonly referred to as the synthetic street drug known as “Molly,” according to authorities.
Due to Colon having a previous conviction, he was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, a Class D felony, and one count of Cayuga County Local Law Possession of Mislabeled Dangerous Substance.
The Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office is requesting Colon be held and remanded to the custody of Cayuga County Jail, citing his four previous felony convictions.
