WEYMOUTH — A Bridgewater woman has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries earlier this year.

Maria De Lourdes Goncalves, 24, was arrested March 6 at her Meadow Lane residence following an investigation by Weymouth Police.

The crash occurred Jan. 19 at approximately 6:40 p.m. when a pedestrian was struck by what witnesses described as a dark-colored vehicle near 35 Pleasant Street.

The victim was transported to South Shore Hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.
