TROY — Troy Police Department detectives arrested a 37-year-old man Thursday following an investigation into drug activity in the city.
On Thursday, Feb. 27, around 3 p.m., Special Operations Section Detectives observed Robert C. Henderson, the subject of an ongoing drug investigation, in the area of 2nd Avenue and 102nd Street.
During an interview, detectives found Henderson in possession of a large amount of illegal drugs including fentanyl and cocaine, according to police.
Henderson was taken into custody and held at the Troy Police Central Station pending arraignment in Troy City Court.
Police said Henderson had previously been out on bail regarding an arrest in November 2024 where he allegedly possessed drugs with intent to sell.
Henderson faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell, and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree.
