New York man arrested for sexual abuse of children under 11 in Madrid

MADRID — State Police arrested Aaron Maslin, 37, of Chase Mills, on March 5 following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse.

State Police responded to a residence on County Route 44 in the town of Madrid at approximately 6:05 p.m. on March 4 for a reported domestic dispute.

The investigation determined Maslin was engaging in sexual contact with victims less than 11 years of age.

Maslin was charged with sexual abuse in the first degree: sexual contact with individuals less than 11 years old and endangering the welfare of a child.

He was processed at SP Massena and later arraigned in the Town of Madrid Court.

Maslin was remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
