SOMERSWORTH — A man died Thursday afternoon at the Willand Warming Center despite emergency responders’ life-saving efforts, according to local police.
The Somersworth Police Department, Somersworth Fire Department and Stewart’s Ambulance responded to the center at 30 Willand Drive at approximately 4:41 p.m. on March 6 after receiving a call about an unresponsive male.
Emergency personnel initiated life-saving measures, but they were unsuccessful.
Police said their investigation did not find evidence connecting the death to drugs or alcohol.
The cause of death is being further examined by the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
Authorities are withholding the name of the deceased out of respect for the family and those involved.
