HUDSON — State Police arrested two women Tuesday for allegedly instructing children to assault an adult with developmental disabilities.
Nellie McCaul, 43, of Copake Falls and Brandy Shook, 36, of Hudson were charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
The arrests followed an investigation into an incident that occurred on July 5, 2024.
Investigators determined that Shook and McCaul instructed and watched four juveniles physically assault an adult victim with developmental disabilities.
The women were arraigned in Hudson City Court at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
They are scheduled to appear in Copake Town Court on March 24.
