Two-vehicle crash on VT Route 113 in Vershire results in major damage

VERSHIRE — A collision was reported at approximately 8:47 a.m. Thursday on VT Route 113 near Brown Road in Vershire.

State Police from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to the scene.

Investigations determined that Margaret Darrow, 75, of Vershire, operating a 2023 Subaru Impreza, failed to yield the right of way while entering VT Route 113.

Richard Bressett, 74, of Thetford, was driving a 2024 Toyota Tacoma westbound on VT Route 113.

To avoid a head-on collision, Bressett exited the roadway, striking a mailbox and guardrail.

The impact caused major front-end damage to his vehicle.

No injuries were reported in the crash.

Troopers received assistance from the Vershire Fire Department and Ward’s Garage.
