NORTH HAVEN — The North Haven Police Department responded to the Amazon Fulfillment Center on Feb. 25 for a report of a threat involving the potential use of a firearm.
North Haven patrol officers investigated the incident and determined Amazon employee Zachary Johnson, 25, of New Haven, was responsible.
Johnson was arrested by warrant on March 5 and charged with threatening in the second degree and breach of peace in the second degree.
Johnson was held on a $75,000 court-set bond and brought to Meriden Superior Court for arraignment.
Interviews of the involved parties determined this was not a random incident, and there is no known threat to the public.
