WILLET — A collision between a farm tractor and a car on Route 221 in the town of Willet sent one person to the hospital Tuesday evening.
Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office discovered the crash at approximately 6:25 p.m. while patrolling the area on March 4.
The disabled motor vehicle remained in the roadway while the farm tractor was found disabled off the road.
Investigation determined that the farm tractor was traveling eastbound on Route 221 and preparing to make a left turn into a driveway when it was rear-ended by the motor vehicle.
One person was transported by Marathon Ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Willet Fire Department, Marathon Ambulance, and Ron’s Towing.
