BERLIN — Troopers from the Berlin Barracks responded to a call regarding a verbal dispute at Central Vermont Medical Center at 11:50 p.m. on March 5.
Further investigation revealed that Cara Chase, 34, of Northfield, was in possession of a controlled substance.
Chase was placed under arrest and transported to the Berlin State Police Barracks for processing.
Following processing, Chase was released with a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court, Criminal Division on May 1 at 8:30 a.m.
Chase faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
