WATERFORD — Police are seeking public assistance to identify a suspect involved in the theft of oak wood flooring from a Lowe’s Home Improvement store in Waterford on March 2.
The suspect selected 25 units of oak wood flooring, valued at $1,638.50, and left the premises without paying.
According to the Waterford Police Department, the suspect departed in a gray car with Rhode Island registration GN314, which was later confirmed to be incorrect for the vehicle.
Authorities have released an image of the individual involved, noting that at the time of the incident, he was wearing a red shirt.
Additional footage links the same individual to other incidents, where he was seen in a dark Adidas shirt.
