HALFMOON — On Feb. 28, the State Police, Troop G, Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team, with the assistance of the Capital Special Operations Response Team, arrested two men in connection with illegal firearms activities.
Tyler R. Kelly, 30, of Clifton Park, was arrested for two counts of criminal sale of a firearm in the third degree.
Patrick A. McKee, 34, of Schodack, was arrested for two counts of criminal possession of a firearm.
During an ongoing investigation into the illegal sale and possession of firearms, investigators executed multiple search warrants in Halfmoon and Schodack on Feb. 28.
As a result of these searches, Kelly and McKee were both arrested, and authorities seized 21 guns.
Kelly and McKee were processed and then arraigned at the Schodack Town Court.
Kelly was remanded to the Rensselaer County Correction Facility without bail.
McKee was released on his own recognizance.
