WILTON — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance call on Davidson Drive in Wilton at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday.
Following an investigation, Nicholas J. Towers, 21, of Wilton was arrested on charges of aggravated family offense and criminal contempt in the first degree, both class E felonies.
Towers is accused of committing a specified offense within five years of a prior conviction for a similar offense.
He is also charged with violating an order of protection by failing to stay away from the protected person.
The criminal contempt charge was elevated to a felony due to a previous conviction for criminal contempt within the past five years.
Towers was arraigned before Judge David R. Towne in Wilton Town Court.
He was remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
