MEDWAY — A 29-year-old Medway man was arrested Wednesday following an early morning assault that left another man unconscious with life-threatening injuries.
Bryan Condoy was taken into custody around 12 p.m. after an investigation into a reported fight at 3 Partridge Street, according to Medway Police Chief William H. Kingsbury.
Police responded to the residence at 2:09 a.m. Wednesday after receiving a 911 call reporting a fight in progress.
Officers found a 33-year-old male unconscious with serious injuries at the scene.
The officers provided emergency aid until Medway Fire/EMS arrived and transported the victim to Milford Regional Health Center.
The victim was later transferred by medical helicopter to UMass Medical Center in Worcester, where he remains in serious but stable condition.
Condoy, who lives at the Partridge Street address, had fled the scene before officers arrived, police said.
Detectives from the Medway Police Department, Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office, and Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene technicians conducted an investigation that led to Condoy’s identification as a suspect.
Condoy faces charges of assault and battery causing serious bodily injury, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery.
He is scheduled for arraignment Thursday in Wrentham District Court.
