Boston police search for missing autistic teen who fled school

BOSTON — The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Edward “Neddy” Kelly, who was reported missing after fleeing from his school Tuesday afternoon.

Kelly, who is autistic, was last seen at approximately 12:45 p.m. when he left the Albert Holland School at 60 Washington St. in Dorchester.

The teen, originally from Falmouth, currently resides in a group home in Framingham.

Police said Kelly was wearing gray jeans, an Ed Hardy sweatshirt, a white tie-dye jacket, and carrying a black backpack when he disappeared.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Kelly’s whereabouts to contact 911 or B-2 Detectives at 617-343-6683.
