South Boston police seek information on break-in suspect

BOSTON — Detectives from District C-6 are seeking public assistance to identify an individual involved in a commercial break-in in South Boston.

The incident occurred between 10 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, and 6 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, in the area of 667 E Broadway.

During the break-in, a security television was ripped off the wall, bottles of alcohol were shattered, and a safe handle was broken.

An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was reportedly stolen from two registers.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating and is encouraging anyone with information to contact District C-6 detectives at 617-343-4742.
