ROME — The Rome Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Saturday, March 1, at approximately 11:27 a.m. in the 100 block of Black River Boulevard.
During the stop, the passenger of the vehicle was identified as Duane O. Bronson, born Dec. 29, 1975.
Following an investigation, authorities seized 37.18 grams of methamphetamine and $977 in U.S. currency.
Bronson was subsequently charged by the Special Investigations Unit with two felonies: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Intent to Sell (B Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree (C Felony).
He was booked, processed, and held for arraignment.
