FAIR HAVEN — Police arrested Trisaia L. Junior, 36, of Rutland on charges of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license on March 2.
Officers stopped Junior at 5:42 p.m. on Route 4 for speeding, recording a speed of 97 mph in a 65 mph zone.
Upon conducting an interview, police detected signs of alcohol impairment.
Junior subsequently failed field sobriety exercises.
A breath alcohol test revealed a blood alcohol concentration of .125, above the legal limit to operate a vehicle.
Junior was found to be driving with a criminally suspended license.
She was taken into custody and later released to appear in Rutland District Court at a future date.
