78-year-old Concord man arrested after alleged assault on three teens

CONCORD — On March 3 at approximately 7:55 p.m., troopers from the Vermont State Police responded to a report of a threatening incident in the town of Concord.

John Morehouse, 78, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, criminal threatening, and reckless endangerment.

The incident involved three juveniles outside Morehouse’s residence.

The victims were identified as two 19-year-olds from Concord and an 18-year-old from Lyndon.

Following the arrest, Morehouse was transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.

He was released with a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on March 5 at 12:30 p.m.
