CORTLANDVILLE — Alyssa R. Brown, 32, of Cortland, and Ashley N. Sebring, 31, of Groton, New York, have been charged with petit larceny following an incident at a Walmart in Cortlandville.
On March 1, at approximately 10:52 a.m., officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a larceny complaint at the Walmart located at 819 Bennie Road.
Sheriff’s deputies determined that Brown and Sebring conspired to steal merchandise from the store.
Both women were arrested and taken to the Public Safety Building for processing.
They have been charged with petit larceny and conspiracy in the 5th degree, both misdemeanors.
Brown and Sebring were released on appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear for arraignment in the Town of Cortlandville Court on March 17 at 1 p.m.
