CHELSEA — Police responded to a reported crash near Blackhawk Road and Stender Road at approximately 6:29 p.m. on March 2.
Troopers from the VSP Royalton Barracks arrived at the scene and identified the driver as Shawn M. Maylin, 45, of Chelsea.
Authorities observed signs of impairment from Maylin and confirmed he had been operating a motor vehicle on a public roadway.
Based on probable cause for the offense of DUI, Maylin was arrested without incident.
He was processed at the Hartford Police Department and subsequently released with a citation.
