POULTNEY — Troopers from the Vermont State Police were alerted to a domestic disturbance in Poultney on March 1 at approximately 2:34 p.m.
Peter Senecal, 25, of Poultney, was arrested following an investigation that determined he had inflicted harm on a family or household member and used a deadly weapon to threaten them.
The offenses occurred in the presence of two children.
Senecal was taken into custody by the Brandon Police Department and transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.
He was subsequently issued conditions of release and lodged at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.
The Vermont State Police were assisted at the scene by officers from the Fair Haven, Castleton, Brandon, and Middlebury Police Departments.
