Syracuse man arrested on new charges related to 2022 incident

SYRACUSE — Jason A. Bissell, 38, from Syracuse, was arrested on Feb. 27 on charges of sexual abuse in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child.

These charges stem from a June 2022 incident involving a 7-year-old victim at a residence in the Town of Geddes, Onondaga County.

At the time of his arrest, Bissell was already incarcerated at the Onondaga County Justice Center on previous charges.

He was arraigned on the new charges the same day in Onondaga County CAP Court.
