NORTHFIELD — Vermont State Police have arrested a Northfield man following a domestic assault incident reported late Wednesday evening.
Police received a report of the incident on Feb. 28 at approximately 11:10 p.m. in Northfield.
An investigation conducted by the authorities revealed that Michael Trombly, 28, had assaulted a member of his household.
Trombly was taken into custody by troopers and transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
After his arrest, Trombly was released under certain conditions.
The Vermont State Police have not disclosed the identity of the victim in line with their policy regarding domestic violence cases.
