PLATTSBURGH — Clinton County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Silas Smith, a 39-year-old resident of Plattsburgh, on a probation warrant issued by Clinton County Court.
The arrest took place on Feb. 26 at 1:00 p.m.
Smith is accused of violating the conditions of his probation.
Smith was originally placed on probation after a conviction for criminal trespass in the second degree in October.
He was arraigned in Clinton County Court and subsequently remanded to the Clinton County Correctional Facility without bail.
The Plattsburgh Police Department assisted in the arrest.
Smith is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to address the allegations.
