SHREWSBURY — Vermont State Police responded to a report of a domestic assault at a residence on state Route 103 in Shrewsbury at 8:35 p.m. Feb. 27.
An investigation determined that 63-year-old Joseph Marro committed first-degree aggravated domestic assault on two occasions.
Marro was located later in the evening and taken into custody without incident.
He was transported to the Rutland barracks for processing and ordered held without bail.
Marro has been issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Rutland Criminal Division at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 28.
