MENANDS — New York Crime Stoppers, in cooperation with the New York State Police Troop G Bureau of Criminal Investigation, has announced a reward of up to $2,500 for information related to the homicide investigation of Daniel Frament.
Frament, born March 4, 1948, was discovered deceased from multiple wounds consistent with blunt force trauma on April 18, 2024.
The discovery was made at approximately 3:30 p.m. on the Empire State Trail in Menands, located between Watervliet and Albany along the Hudson River.
Authorities report that Frament was walking northbound from Albany on the trail at the time of his death.
He held residences in both Troy and Manhattan and was known to live a quiet, private life.
