THERESA — State Police arrested Christopher Faircloth, 30, of Theresa on Feb. 25 on child pornography charges.
Faircloth was charged with five counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child, a class D felony.
The arrest followed an ongoing joint investigation by members of the State Police Troop D Bureau of Criminal Investigation – Alexandria Bay, the Computer Crime Unit – Troop D, and Homeland Security Investigations.
Faircloth was arraigned in Jefferson County CAP Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building on $10,000 cash bail, a $50,000 secured bond, or a $100,000 partially secured bond.
