BRADFORD — A Bradford woman was arrested Tuesday after Vermont State Police discovered an active arrest warrant during a routine traffic stop.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks were patrolling the Bradford area at about 5:47 p.m. when they observed a vehicle commit a motor vehicle violation and initiated a traffic stop.
Police identified the passenger in the vehicle as 38-year-old Karri Simpson of Bradford.
During the stop, troopers learned Simpson had an active in-state warrant for her arrest.
Simpson was arrested and transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks in St. Johnsbury for processing.
Following processing, police cited Simpson to appear at Orange County Supreme Court on Feb. 28.
She was taken to Northeast Correctional Complex after being unable to post $50 bail.
