WATERBURY — Police arrested a man and seized drugs, cash, and paraphernalia during a raid Thursday morning, authorities said.
At about 9:27 a.m., officers from the Waterbury Police Department’s Vice and Intelligence Unit, Gang Task Force, and Auto Theft Task Force carried out several search and seizure warrants, including at a residence on Ridgewood Street, for a suspect and for a vehicle, police said.
As officers conducted the investigation, they saw Graydon Myers, 44, of Waterbury, attempting to flee the residence, police said.
He was quickly apprehended and taken into custody without further incident.
During the investigation, officers seized fentanyl, 44.2 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and $1,714 in cash, police said.
Myers was charged with interfering with a search warrant, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, and possession of more than half an ounce of freebase cocaine, police said.
