SPRINGFIELD — Police arrested a Springfield man on charges of simple assault and unlawful mischief following an altercation on Stanley Road.
Officers responded at approximately 5:21 p.m. on Feb. 3 after receiving a report of a physical fight between two men, according to a statement from the Springfield Police Department.
After conducting an investigation, officers determined that Justin Fiske, 38, refused to leave a residence, assaulted a resident and broke a window, police said.
Fiske was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit, on March 18 at 8:30 a.m. to face the charges.
