ORWELL — Troopers responding to a landlord-tenant dispute Wednesday afternoon on VT-73 arrested a man with an active warrant, police said.
Vermont State Police said they arrived at the residence at about 3:33 p.m. and encountered Joseph Shaw, 61, of Orwell, who was known to have an outstanding warrant.
Shaw was taken into custody and transported to the New Haven Barracks for processing, police said.
Authorities said Shaw was released after posting $200 bail with the Addison County Sheriff’s Department.
