NEW LONDON — New London police responded to a report of an active disturbance near the Amtrak station at 27 Water St. at approximately 6:42 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers arrived to find an injured adult male with non-life-threatening facial injuries.
The man was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
No other individuals were found at the scene.
Police said the incident does not appear to be random.
The investigation remains active.
