Cranston police seek public’s help in identifying break-in suspect

CRANSTON — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in two recent break-ins at Merlino’s Pizza.

The incidents occurred on Feb. 18 and Feb. 24 in the early morning hours between 5:30 a.m. and 7 a.m., according to the Cranston Police Department.

The suspect was captured on surveillance footage wearing orange pants and a red and navy blue or black coat during both break-ins.

Authorities believe the suspect may be living in the area or may be homeless.
