BROOKFIELD — Troopers from the Berlin Barracks responded to a report of an unconscious female in a vehicle on southbound Interstate 89 at mile marker 35.4 at 7:23 p.m. on Feb. 25.
Upon arrival, troopers made contact with the driver, identified as Christine Gates, 48, of Casco, Maine.
During the interaction, troopers observed signs of impairment.
Gates was taken into custody and transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
She was later released with a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Orange County Criminal Division, at 8:30 a.m. on March 28.
