MERRIMACK — Three people were taken into custody following a high-speed pursuit that ended in a crash on the Everett Turnpike on Wednesday morning.

At 9:28 a.m., Trooper William Moran of the Troop B barracks observed a blue 2005 Subaru Forester traveling at 80 mph in a 30 mph zone in Manchester.

Trooper Moran attempted a traffic stop with emergency lights activated, but the driver continued at a high rate of speed, leading to a pursuit.

The Subaru then entered the Ray Wieczorek Drive expressway westbound toward the Everett Turnpike, maintaining speeds of around 80 mph.

As the pursuit moved onto the Everett Turnpike southbound, a trooper working a construction detail deployed tire deflation devices near the Bedford Toll Plaza.

Despite losing one tire and others deflating, the driver continued for several miles before crashing near mile marker 12 in Merrimack.

Following the crash, two female passengers were taken into custody, while the male driver fled on foot.

Troopers located him on a nearby road and took him into custody.

The driver was identified as Tyler J. Gagnon, 33, of Nashua.

He faces multiple charges, including felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor counts of disobeying a police officer, resisting arrest, and reckless operation.

The two passengers, identified as Kendra L. Johnson, 29, of Manchester, and Nicole Cangimilla, 42, of Laconia, were both found to have multiple active warrants for their arrest.

Johnson was transported to the Merrimack County Department of Corrections, while Gagnon and Cangimilla were taken to the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections and remain held on a no-bail warrant and preventative detention.

They are scheduled to be arraigned in Manchester District Court on Thursday, Feb. 27.

Southbound lanes of the Everett Turnpike were temporarily closed due to the incident.

Merrimack police assisted state police at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
