Elmira sheriff’s office reports arrests on drug, impersonation and menacing charges

ELMIRA — A Towanda, Pennsylvania, man was arrested on drug charges, and two Chemung County residents face separate charges following incidents last week, according to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.

Scott R. Kunkle, 41, was arrested Feb. 22 on a Superior Court warrant for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third and fourth degrees.

The warrant was issued by Chemung County Court on Jan. 3.

Kunkle is being held at the Chemung County Jail pending arraignment.

Nyeisha M. Hardycooke, 25, of Elmira was arrested Feb. 25 for criminal impersonation in the second degree and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree, both misdemeanors.

Hardycooke was taken into custody after a traffic stop in the Town of Big Flats.

Authorities issued her an appearance ticket for Big Flats Town Court at a later date.

Darrick J. White, 49, of Big Flats was arrested Feb. 25 for resisting arrest and menacing in the second degree, both Class A misdemeanors, following a domestic disturbance in the Town of Big Flats.

White was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Big Flats Town Court at a later date.
