AFTON — A Town of Afton man was arrested by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office on charges of aggravated harassment and stalking.
Cody L. Borawa, 35, was taken into custody on Feb. 6 after an investigation determined he had attempted to contact a victim over six months despite being told to stop, authorities said.
Investigators said Borawa used emails, fake phone numbers, text messages, phone calls, third-party contact through family and friends, and social media accounts to reach the victim.
Borawa was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Afton Court at a later date.
All charges are allegations, and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
