MILFORD — Authorities have arrested two men in connection with a series of larcenies and attempted fraud transactions spanning multiple towns, the Milford Police Department announced Tuesday.
The crimes occurred late on Feb. 19 and into Feb. 20 across Milford, Hopedale, Medway, Ashland and Framingham, police said.
Investigators from all five police departments collaborated to identify Lucas Peli, 21, and Guilherme Branco, 22, both of Framingham, as the primary suspects.
On Feb. 24, officers from the Milford, Medway, Ashland and Framingham police departments executed search and arrest warrants at the suspects’ residences.
Many stolen items were recovered during the searches, police said.
“Crimes that affect multiple communities only get solved when there is synergy amongst law enforcement,” Milford Chief of Police Robert Tusino said in a statement.
Peli and Branco were taken into custody at their homes and transported for arraignment.
Authorities have not yet specified the charges against the suspects.
