NEWFANE — A 45-year-old man was arrested on a DUI charge following a motor vehicle crash on VT Route 30, Vermont State Police said.
Troopers from the Westminster Barracks responded to the crash at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Jan. 12.
An investigation determined that Peter J. Johnson, described as transient, was operating the vehicle and was taken into custody for driving under the influence and negligent operation, police said.
Johnson is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on March 11.
