PAWTUCKET — Rhode Island State Police arrested a Warwick man early Monday on fentanyl distribution charges following a traffic stop.
Troopers stopped a vehicle on Park Place at 4:08 a.m. and took Andrew Morgan, 37, of 259 Merry Mount Drive, Warwick, into custody.
Morgan was charged with two counts of manufacturing, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a Schedule I/II controlled substance (fentanyl).
He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight.
Morgan was scheduled for arraignment as a probation violator at Sixth Division District Court.
