NEW LONDON — Emergency services responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a moped and a car in the area of Bank Street and Montauk Avenue at approximately 3:35 p.m. Feb. 22.
The adult male operator of the moped appeared to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries but refused medical treatment, police said.
The adult female driver of the vehicle reported no injuries.
The accident investigation remains active.
