CORTLAND — Officers with the Cortland City Police Department arrested a 37-year-old man late Wednesday night after responding to a burglary complaint on N. Main Street.

When officers arrived, they found the house in disarray, with food and other items scattered.
Investigators determined that Mann had damaged property inside the home and remained at the scene.
Police located Mann in the kitchen, where he initially provided a false name.
Officers later confirmed his true identity as Monti Mann, who was wanted on an active grand larceny warrant out of Greenville.
Mann was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary, a class C felony; fourth-degree criminal mischief, a class A misdemeanor; third-degree criminal tampering, a class B misdemeanor; and false personation, a class B misdemeanor.
He also faces a parole violation warrant.
Mann was arraigned and taken to the Cortland County Jail.
He is scheduled to appear in City Court at a later date.
