Vandalism reported at Wells River Chevrolet dealership

WELLS RIVER — Vermont State Police are investigating an act of vandalism at the Wells River Chevrolet dealership.

The incident was reported during the overnight hours of Feb. 21.

Police said a customer’s vehicle at the dealership, located at 10 Railroad St., had its fuel tank drilled, causing the fuel to drain onto the ground.

The vandalism is believed to have occurred between 5 p.m. on Feb. 20 and 8 a.m. on Feb. 21.

The suspect or suspects remain unknown.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Vermont State Police.
