PROCTOR — Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks responded to a single-vehicle crash on West Street at approximately 5:42 p.m. on Feb. 20.
Investigators determined that Aidan Smith, 18, of Proctor, was driving a 2016 Subaru Legacy south when he failed to maintain his lane.
The vehicle exited the roadway, rolled, and came to rest in the southbound lane.
Smith and his two passengers, Shelby St. Ours, 19, of Rutland, and Paul Schaner, 23, of Proctor, sustained minor injuries but declined transportation to a hospital.
The Subaru sustained totaling damage.
The Vermont State Police were assisted at the scene by the Proctor Fire Department and Regional Ambulance Service.
A Vermont Civil Violation Complaint is pending.
