ADAMS — Officers with the Adams Police Department arrested an 18-year-old man Thursday after receiving a video that showed him physically strangling a 1-year-old cat.
The suspect recorded and sent the video before officers took him into custody on charges of animal cruelty.
Authorities confirmed that the cat is in good condition.
Police said the suspect’s identity will be released following his arraignment.
